which reviews actual or theoretical ethics case studies and issues an opinion about the behavior involved in the case. An archive of BER reports from 2000 to 2010 can be found at the following URL: http://www.nspe.org/Ethics/EthicsResources/BER/http://allacademia.com/http://writemyassignments.org/order A more extensive archive from 1976 to 2001 can be found at this URL: http://www.niee.org/cases/cases_by_year.htm For this paper, please select one of these case studies that you find particularly interesting and/or applicable to your field of engineering. You are to review the case, using the NCEES Model Rules of Professional Conduct and at least one engineering society’s Codes of Ethics. Act as if you are a part of a Board of Ethical Review and review the ruling or, if none is given, develop your own opinion (ruling) on the person’s behavior. Write a three- to five-page paper (12 pt, double spaced, 1 inch margins) briefly describing the case, stating and answering the major question(s), describing the ethical questions and dilemmas that appear in the case, and stating your opinion (whether you agree with the given ruling and why). When stating your opinion, expound on the strengths and weaknesses of your opinion. The paper should cite specific parts of ethical codes that apply directly to the case. In addition, similar cases should be cited. The opinion part of your paper should not be less than one page. There are sources available via the Web, as well as through the Library. Try using a web-based search engine- there are some well-indexed websites with cases.
