Design a resource to be used during day school placement with a group of children to support
the teaching of pre-calculatlon or calculation.
Identify the aspect Of pre- calculation / calculation which the resource is designed to support for
a speCIfIc group of children. With reference to government documents and background reading
explain the rationale for your choice. With reference to your background reading, critically
evaluate its effectiveness in achieving your objective. In addition, reflect on your own subject
knowledge of pre-calculation and calculation that has been covered in year i. A copy of the
resource or a photograph of the resource will need to be submitted.
