Chapter Three Discussion: Who Are You?
In Chapter Three we begin to see some of the famous answers that philosophers have developed as they enter into dialogue on some of the most famous questions of philosophy. In Chapter Three these questions are: Who are we? What are we? Are we essentially beings with a soul? Are we to identified by our conscious mind? Are we nothing more than a very complex but entirely material body? Are we some combination of these things? Or, are we some other kind of “thing” altogether?
