3 Assignments In 1 Due ASAP

3 Assignments In 1 Due ASAP

Assignment 1: Project Proposal

Note: You have been selected to be the Project Manager (for a project of your choice). The project that you decide to use should meet the key criteria of a project, such as (a) having a beginning and an end; (b) results in something being delivered to someone; (c) requires a series of activities that must be done to complete the project; and (d) requires resources (e.g., people, materials) to complete the work.

The project must be one of a professional nature and must last for at least twelve (12) months. Note: You are prohibited from using projects that can found on the Internet, including projects found in places like Course Hero. All project submissions will be submitted to Safe Assign for review.

Write a four to six (4-6) page paper in which you define the scope of your chosen project. In your paper you must:

Provide a brief summary of your chosen project.
Describe at least three (3) project goals and three (3) project objectives.
Identify the key customer(s) and at least two (2) stakeholders for your project. Remember, you are delivering the project to your customer(s); however, there are others (stakeholders) who have a vested interest in your project.
Describe at least three (3) key milestones and /or deliverables for your project.
Describe a high-level timeline that includes key tasks and deadlines.
Estimate the project’s overall costs and any key staffing and non-staffing resources needed.
Use at least three (3) quality resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar websites do not qualify as quality resources.
Part 2

Assignment 2: Project WBS & Schedule

Note: This is the second of four assignments which, as a whole, will cover all aspects of the project life cycle relevant to your selected project.

Now, it is time to develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project schedule for the project that you discussed in Assignment 1. This assignment requires you to:

Create a WBS for your project using the proper format (MS Word, MS Excel, Visio, or any other applicable format) to depict WBS graphically (see Figure 4.1 from Chapter 4 of the Gedo textbook). Alternatively, you may use a coded format using MS Word (see Figure 4.3 from Chapter 4 of the Gido textbook as an example). The example is in MS Project format but the same could be done in MS Excel.
Create a project schedule that lists all of the core activities, dates (start and finish), and resources to complete your project. While it is recommended that you use MS Project, you can use MS Excel to create your schedule. Your project schedule must contain at least 30 separate activities/tasks.
The specific course learning outcomes associated with this assignment are:

Analyze project management processes for scheduling and sequencing work components.
Appraise the process of determining the cost and relevant budget required for a project component.
Evaluate systems for cost tracking and budget monitoring.
Part 3

Assignment 3: Project Performance

Note: This is the third of four assignments which, as a whole, will cover all aspects of the project life cycle relevant to your selected project. Now, it is time for you to discuss your project’s risks and to develop a performance management plan for managing the project.

Write a five to seven (5-7) page paper in which you define the execution and control aspects of your chosen project. In your paper you must:

Provide a brief summary of your chosen project.
Identify and discuss your project’s greatest risks (at least three [3]) and provide a recommendation for addressing each of the risks.
Examine how you will manage your project performance via earned value management. Identify at least three (3) key EVM metrics you will use for your project.
Use at least three (3) quality resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar websites do not qualify as quality resources.
Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

This course requires use of Strayer Writing Standards (SWS). The format is different than other Strayer University courses. Please take a moment to review the SWS documentation for details.
Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required page length.
The specific course learning outcomes associated with this assignment are:

Analyze project management processes for scheduling and sequencing work components.
Appraise the process of determining the cost and relevant budget required for a project component.
Evaluate systems for cost tracking and budget monitoring.

You were introduced to a family in the structural family therapy demonstration video in this unit’s study (linked in Resources). Use the information about the family from the session you watched as your guide, and keep in mind what you read in each text (chapter 10) about goal development and treatment planning. Then, complete the following: (300 words or more)

1. Identify the presenting problem.
2. Devise three specific goals for this family based on the information from the demonstration. Include one goal addressing each of the early, middle, and late phases of treatment.
3. Clearly and thoroughly discuss how you arrived at these goals and how these goals align with the structural family therapy model.

Based on what you learned about the client family from the demonstration video (linked in Resources), imagine you are the therapist who will see them for their next visit. Identify an intervention from the structural family therapy model that you would apply in the session. In this discussion, briefly describe the intervention, including the following: (300 words or more)

Its general purpose and goal.
Who and what is the target of the intervention.
Some questions that would be used to apply this intervention.
The desired outcome of the intervention.
The elements that make this intervention systemic in nature.
Use the literature from the unit and any additional literature to support your discussion post.

Ethical Decision Making

Ethical Decision Making

The point of studying ethics is to improve ethical decision-making. Given every ethical situation, a decision has to happen. Even indecision or inaction are ultimately decisions and actions.

In order to be sure that you are clear on all points, it is good to apply some kind of problem solving approach when solving ethical dilemmas. There are a few methods to do so, but one widely accepted model is the “Eight Steps to Sound Ethical Decision Making” described in the text. The application of such an approach will make sure that all points and stakeholders are considered so that the best decision can be made.

Let’s assume we find ourselves in the following scenario:

In your spare time at work, you have developed a new spreadsheet program on your work computer in your office. It is even more powerful, yet easier to use than anything on the market. You share your new program with a friend who encourages you to market it on your own because you could probably make an incredible profit in a very short amount of time. This is a very attractive option, yet you developed it using company equipment and during time that you were at work. What do you do?

Keep in mind the 8 Steps are:

Step One; Gather the facts
Step Two; Define the ethical issues
Step Three; Identify the affected parties (stakeholders)
Step Four; Identify the consequences
Step Five; Identify the obligations
Step Six; Consider your character and integrity
Step Seven; Think creatively about potential actions
Step Eight; Check your gut!
Ok, for the scenario provided above we would begin by gathering the facts. We created something that could be very lucrative, but did so during company time with company equipment without permission. The potential ethical issue is that we “stole” time from our employer and used their equipment for our own benefit. The affected parties would be ourselves (we created the program), our company, other companies (as this new software could save time and help increase corporate profitability), and possibly future consumers who would use the software as well. The obligations we have could be to provide for our family with more stability if we can sell the software, an obligation to consumers and other companies that may benefit from using my software, and an obligation to our current employer to use their time wisely and not take advantage of work equipment for our own personal gain. In considering our character and integrity, we would evaluate our morals and what we “feel” is right and wrong. Next, we think about our choices, make a decision and check our gut. Let’s ask again, what would you do?

Prompt
In a properly IWG formatted essay of 600 words, including two IWG references (one may be your text), you will choose an actual or possible ethical dilemma or situation that is relevant for the chosen career path that you are studying for. You will analyze this possible ethical dilemma with the Eight Steps to Sound Ethical Decision Making, and decide what to do.

Please be sure to complete each of the following steps in your 600 word essay:
1. Describe an ethical situation you or someone in your field of study or career path might face. You may use your own past experience, however, please do not use one shown in our Week 1 discussion videos. Then in a single sentence, state what you think you should do.
2. Next, analyze the situation you have chosen with the Eight Steps.
3. Discuss the course of action or solution that the process of analyzing the situation from the Eight Steps has led you to in this particular situation.
4. Conclude by comparing the outcomes recommended by the Eight Steps with your initial response stated in the first step. How are they similar? How are they different?
