Mental Health
Paper , Order, or Assignment Requirements

Technological advancements in the healthcare industry are usually associated with improvements in diagnostic machines such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or computed tomography (CT) scans. However, in behavioral health, one of the more important technological advancements is in the documentation and reporting systems used in the treatment of patients diagnosed with chronic mental illness. Other information technology advancements such as the use of the Internet have also had a significant impact on behavioral health services. Read the following article from the EBSCO host database:

Ahr, P. (2005, January). Community mental health principles: A 40-year

case study. Behavioral Health Management, 25(1), 15–17.

There are several topics mentioned in this article that have had or may have an impact on behavioral health services.

Choose an issue mentioned in this article and research at least two other articles (not more than two years old) that discuss these issues as they pertain to behavioral health services. Use the following questions as a guide when developing your essay on the issue:

Explain in detail the issue as it pertains to healthcare in general and behavioral health services in specific.

What was the impact on behavioral health services?

What are some of the financial, privacy, or ethical issues that you perceived from this issue?

Submit your synopsis in a two- to three-page Microsoft Word document. Cite any sources you use using the APA format on a separate page.

Develop a re-creation of the socioecological model by utilizing the information found in the week 2 learning resources.

Week 2 Assignment
Paper , Order, or Assignment Requirements

Application: Applying the Socio-Ecological Model
Ecosocial theory provides health professionals with an opportunity to understand why populations react biologically to a social condition. It is these interactions between biology and social conditions that can contribute to an inequitable distribution of ill health and disease.

Following the tenets of ecosocial theory, health professionals have developed a framework to which health issues can be applied that is beneficial in devising new approaches for promoting positive health outcomes called the Socio-Ecological Model (SEM).

The SEM is an organizing framework that health professionals can use to better understand the multifaceted interaction between the individual, relationships, community, and societal factors. Prevention is the centralized goal of avoiding or eliminating negative health issues; however the individual factors must be assessed in order to develop effective interventions. Although multiple versions of the SEM have been developed for individual health issues, they have in common the concept of multilevel systems of mutual influence and interaction, moving from the individual level through linkages to larger social networks that include the family, community, environment, social institutions, and government.

In this course, you will be introduced to the formulation of the model as proposed by McLeroy, Bibeau, Steckler, & Glanz, 1988). This model is organized around five hierarchical levels of influence: 1) interpersonal factors, 2) interpersonal processes and relations with primary social groups, 3) institutional factors, 4) community factors, and 5) public policy. As you engage in public health and health promotion practices, applying the SEM to health issues will help you plan and develop interventions to affect positive health outcomes.

For this Assignment, your instructor will provide five articles and you will choose one of those articles to review for this assignment. Refer to the Course Announcement area for a list of these five articles you can choose from. Review the article and consider how you might apply each level of the SEM to the health issue described.

Note: In grading every required Assignment, your Instructor uses an Assignment rubric, located in the Course Information area. Review the rubric prior to completing your Assignment.

The Assignment (1–2 pages)

Develop a re-creation of the socioecological model by utilizing the information found in the week 2 learning resources. Each level of the SEM is represented in the resource article so please use the information to design the model.
Explain how the SEM you created helps address the health issue and how you can apply this to public health and health promotion practice.
Submit your Assignment by Day 7.

Support your work with specific citations from this week’s Learning Resources and additional scholarly sources as appropriate. Refer to the Essential Guide to APA Style for Walden Students to ensure that your in-text citations and reference list are correct.

What is the co alignment principle and why is it important?

A+ Answers
Paper , Order, or Assignment Requirements

What is the co alignment principle and why is it important?

How can a company measure its success of applying the co alignment principle?

What are three ways IT has helped the hospitality industry?

How are each of these three ways attributed to the co-alignment principle?

What are the three food service classifications? Why do we classify them this way and can you provide an example of each in the market place today?

One of the newest trends in food service are gourmet food trucks. They are a great low cost way to provide specialty food and deliver it to any demographic you want. I have seen some very creative ways this business has flourished. What classification would this fall under and why?

What are some of the other benefits of this new venture (food trucks)?

Since Commercial Food Service is so large and has so many facets to it, is there one part that you feel is more interesting to you? Also in this which one of the systems would be more appropriate or would it be different depending on the style? Would it be conventional, ready prepared or commissary? Can you provide an example and why?

What are the four types of food service systems? How are they similar and different?

When we look a system design in organizations it sounds complex because organizations are complex. They are made up of a collection of parts and people each having an important part in the overall goal of the organization. In our textbook, it tells us that they are not “self contained” and are dynamic. Can you provide an example of this in a food service business that you are familiar with?

One of your objectives were to describe the role of information technology in the hospitality industry.Class, how would you answer this question different as compared with the class first started?

Last week’s objectives was to introduce the role of technology as it refers to the hospitality industry. Realizing what a vital role technology plays and will continue to play in the hospitality industry. Having IT knowledge is essential to any good manager for the growth and stability of their business. From attracting guests to keeping them happy and returning the Internet is an important tool needed to stay competitive in today’s technical world. Agree or disagree then explain why?

Starwoods and Marriott for example, have created mobile check in apps on smart phones which allows guest to check in on their phones. Next year Starwoods will raise the bar by allowing guest to unlock their room doors using the new Apple Watch. Any thoughts?

Identify some of the basic structure and chemical features (AA sequence, MW, pI, etc.) of your protein using the information and tools on NCBI, ExPASy, Protein Data Bank, etc. websites.

Chemistry ,TLR10
Paper , Order, or Assignment Requirements

The Protein Project will consist of 3 parts. If you have not selected your own protein then you will be assigned a protein for completion of the project. Literature references should be included with citations to the source of material.

Part A: Protein Description and History

Identify some of the basic structure and chemical features (AA sequence, MW, pI, etc.) of your protein using the information and tools on NCBI, ExPASy, Protein Data Bank, etc. websites. (See the Resources links below.)
Give an extensive literature based overview of your protein. From journal articles determine more about the history, functions, and possible roles in cellular mechanisms. Also, explore if this protein has been linked to diseases or disorders.

Part B: Understanding the Structure & Function

Develop a set of visuals (tables, charts, images, etc.) to convey the basic information of the protein identified above (MW, pI, hydrophobicity, etc.).
Give the complete amino acid sequence for protein
Give an image of the 3-D structure and identify secondary structural features
How do the elements of the protein structure influence the function of the protein? Are there elements that could be changed and not affect the function? What are the structural elements that are required for proper function?

Part C: Comparisons to Other Proteins and Species

Use the BLAST tool on the protein websites to compare you protein sequence to other proteins and species. If you use NCBI, you can control the species name to get only other proteins within that species or leave it blank to get proteins in all species.
From the BLAST data, create a phylogenetic tree of different proteins with the organism and one relating the same protein in different species.
Use the ClustalW link on one of the websites to develop an amino acid sequence comparison and present this comparison.
Explore the Gene page for the underlying genomic DNA sequence as there is a large amount of basic information on this page relevant to the function and relationship with other proteins.
Identify interactions with other proteins, activities within the cell or biological functions (Gene Onotology, Biosystems, Pathways, etc.).
From the HomoloGene page identify the protein motifs found with in your protein and the level of conservancy of this protein across species.
How does a deeper understanding of primary amino acid sequence and identification of specific sequence motifs help identify the protein structure and function? Expand on the similarity of this protein to other proteins and the level of conservancy across species. How can this knowledge improve our understanding of the function and history of this protein? What can you learn about functions from identifying interactions between this protein and other proteins?

Part D: Conclusion/Discussion of the Protein

Expand on the role of this protein in known cellular and organismal mechanisms. What are some known disorders or diseases caused by abnormal structure and function of this protein? Speculate on some possible changes in protein structure and function that have not been identified or confirmed yet and how that abnormal structure could affect the functions of this protein in some future disease.

Health issues around food

Health issues around food
Paper , Order, or Assignment Requirements

Topic is :
• Health issues around food? Choose a particular food, or economic or spatial problem
Please write a paper of 8-10 pages, 1.5 spaced (no extra-large fonts please, or super-wide margins!). Write on a food-related topic that interests you. Some choose to develop a topic they are working on independently, which is fine so long as it relates to food issues. Be guided by the syllabus and readings. Ask key questions appropriate for this class:

–What does your topic illustrate about some kind of food system?
–What are the implications for public health and wellbeing; environmental preservation?
–What does your topic bring that’s new to studies of food systems and food security?

Your discussion may be very negative, such as research into the global modification of native seeds as is occurring today. That’s fine, the above questions still apply. Maps, photos and other images are helpful, particularly with unfamiliar contexts.

–Relate your writing to prevailing research. What is the discussion out there, what are the broader issues, why is this all important?
–Always reference your work. Remember, whenever you quote or base your ideas on the work of others, you must document your source. If a reading contributes to your arguments in the paper, give the authors credit.
–Be very careful to describe the context of what you are writing about. Where, when? It often helps to provide dates, particularly if you are discussing some social change or the launching of a new system. When did these occur? Also, “where?” It helps to provide spatial and geographic information. Don’t assume your reader knows what you’re talking about. Give your reader some idea of how widespread a phenomenon or practice is occurring: is it confined to the U.S. for instance, or widespread?

Explaining Black Hair Culture
Paper , Order, or Assignment Requirements

Black Hair and Identity in America Homework # 6 Ch. 6 The Burden of Proof: Explaining Black Hair Culture Two pages double-space and typed “Despite civil rights struggle, the 1960s’ black power movement, and the power of slogans like ‘Black is beautiful,’ masses of black people continue to be socialized via mass media and non-progressive educational systems to internalize white supremicist thoughts and values.” (Byrd & Tharps p. 149) The authors point out that we are taught certain attitudes about hair texture and beauty by our families, friends, schools and the media that affect how we see others and ourselves that can have negative and positive effects. Schools as places of learning offer opportunities to enlighten students through greater cultural understanding of one another. With this in mind, based on information contained in chapter six, create a workshop for students for an elementary, high school or college Your workshop is called: Explaining Black Hair Culture Assume that it is a diverse school with students from all backgrounds. Purpose of Workshop To promote greater cultural understanding among students about the culture of Black hair What information or key points would you want to get across to them? How would you do this in a way that they would understand and find interesting and important and would The desсrіption of your workshop should include: – two quotes from the chapter you would choose and why – two stories or anecdotes from the chapter you would use and how you would apply them – two examples of media portrayals you think may influence young people ((TV, music videos, movies, magazines, advertising etc. can be your own or from the chapter) – what role-playing or small group exercise would you create try to get across what you think is an important point from the chapter. – How you would explore/discuss “good” and “bad” hair and Dominant beauty standard with students – what information would you draw on from this chapter? – Provide an example of a homework assignment you would give them based on information in the chapter Explain why you designed the workshop in this way and how effective you think it will be. What do you think would be your biggest challenge?
