The resources in this learning block are examples of artifacts that have helped create new attitudes toward women and the LGBT community while at the same time being influenced by societys changing views. Use these examples and the information presented in the overview to complete the first table on this weeks worksheet:
In the first column, provide an example of a contemporary artifact that either helps create change in the way women or LGBT people are perceived, or has been influenced by societys changing views of women and LGBT members. In the second column, state in two to three sentences the reason you selected this artifact.
An example of an artifact that may have changed the perception of women is the novel The Hunger Games and its film adaptation, featuring the strong lead female character Katniss. An example of an artifact that may help shape societys views of LGBT individuals is the TV show Modern Family, featuring Mitch and Cam.
Once your work is complete, save the file to your computer. You will complete the second table later this week. You will submit your worksheet at the end of this week.
This assignment consists of two (2) sections: an infrastructure document and a revised Gantt chart or project plan. You must submit both sections as separate files for the completion of this assignment. Label each file name according to the section of the assignment it is written for. Additionally, you may create and / or assume all necessary assumptions needed for the completion of this assignment. The infrastructure which encompasses the network solution and security considerations is a major consideration for your company. Considering that the company will be expanding from one (1) floor to three (3) floors in the very near future you, as the CIO, are responsible for the design of the infrastructure and security protocols. You have been tasked with designing a network that is stable, redundant, and scalable. In addition, speed and reliability are important considerations. Assumptions should be drawn regarding network usage in relationship to network services and resources. All the established criteria that were set at the onset should be adhered to within your plan. The network solution that is chosen should support the conceived information system and allow for scalability. The network infrastructure will support organizational operations; therefore, a pictorial view of workstations, servers, routers, bridges, gateways, and access points should be used. In addition, access paths for Internet access should be depicted. Additionally, the security of the network should be in the forefront of your design because protecting your data is a primary consideration.
Imagine that your state legislature is considering a law that would require parental consent for newborn screening. Parental consent is currently not required, although newborn testing is not conducted over parental objection. (Currently only a few states actually require consent.) The health department has been asked to take a position on the pending legislation.
Using the readings for the week, the South University online library, and the Internet, write a 3–5-page paper.
Cover the following:

6. In your opinion, which of the three companies have the best SCM and why?
Working individually, analyze the supplying Fast Fashion case study and present your analysis
in a report. Your work will be assessed according to the linked rubrics on blackboard. You are
encouraged to use online sources to support your analysis/recommendation. Make sure to
properly reference those sources in your report. The report should address all the questions
raised in the case study. Please use appropriate headings and subheadings where necessary. The
report should consist of the following sections:
The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Together with its supporters, ACS is committed to helping people stay well and get well by finding cures and by fighting back.Critical Thinking Questions:

- According to statistics published by the American Cancer Society, there will be an estimated 1.5 million new cancer cases diagnosed each year over the next decade. What factors contribute to the yearly incidence and mortality rates of various cancers in Americans? What changes in policy and practice are most likely to affect these figures over time
- Select a research program from among those funded by the American Cancer Society. Describe the program and discuss what impact the research will have on the prevention or treatment of cancer.
