Collective bargaining is how workers negotiate contracts with their employers through their unions to set their working conditions. Wages, benefits, and working conditions are all part of this. It provides a means of balancing both quantitative and qualitative data collection. A sample of 50 people from the different health industries and information technology industry would be involved. Through an electronic questionnaire, the researcher aims to request the respondents to fill the questionnaire.
The foundational theory is positivism. The researcher is limited to the way the data is collected and how the data is interpreted objectively (Park, Konge & Artino, 2020). Engaging in the research, including the research design, makes it easier to learn the influence of cloud computing on privacy and security, including its impact on the healthcare industry.

• Background and history that led to the conflict
I remember an incident at the workplace about an order that a customer had requested. The customer had ordered online, and her expectation was to come and pick the product. The objective of the customer was the normal punctual delivery of the food and the products. However, we failed the customer before the customer did not receive the order on time and also the ordered food was different from the one the customer had ordered. I had been tasked with overseeing a group of three individuals who were working on the details and arrangements, which becomes important in the entire arrangement. The three individuals dealt with receiving customers calls including responding to social media platforms engagement and support systems. These strategies becomes important in ensuring the message is communicated appropriately, and the diverse needs of the clients are achieved.
Initially, the employees did not make such mistakes. Procedures were clear in which the customer made the order including the ingredients associated with food. The different customers had made their respective orders in the past, and these orders were meet and fulfilled effectively. The strategy is to comprehend and understand the demands of the society of other working arrangements. These systems ensures that each individual makes the right order while the staff ensures the provision of the services become important. The framework is to recognize the demands while also recognizing the right systems and processes that impact the service delivery and other related programs.
• How/Why did the conflict escalate?
The scenario worsened because more customers came to complain about their respective orders. We had not experienced such a problem because the situation even became worse because of the inability to recognize the differences of the products and services (Baillien et al., 2017). The risk of allergies also became apparent because some of the customers might have order the right food but the product received were wrong. Such a system becomes important in the entire arrangement and support system in which a customer was required to access the food and beverages they ordered. The increasing number of complaints forced us to check the entire production line including the way the customers posted their information until when the kitchen received the order.
• How was the conflict resolved?
Through extensive review of processes and other related approaches, it becomes important to recognize the possible areas in which problems can occur. The mechanism is to understand the diversity of the information, and the way the information moved from one individual to the other. Since the information is well documented in which each stage and approach had its respective information and details become important in presenting and addressing the information (Baillien et al., 2017). These numerous processes affected the way the information was shared including other steps affecting the entire process. Such an understanding also meant that the source of the problem would be easily identified and addressed.
The extensive audit that took a shorter time because of the interests and the expectations of different parties became apparent. The problem was identified as an update to the ordering and supply software. In the previous night, the company’s software was update in which numerous features and functionalities were included into the operations. The objective was to improve the operational processes including ensuring the orders were clearly presented. Other details included the amount of orders, the loyalty of the customers, and the experience of the customers. The system also had a means to review the information, and details that are important in making the right strategic decisions and approaches. The means is appreciating the information, which also means impacting and influencing the performance.
The review also considered the direct impact of the processes and procedures on the customers. The means was to address frustrations of the customers, which was achieved through engagement and consultation. The customers were provided with benefit coupons depending on their purchase histories, their loyalties and the levels of inconveniences (Cockburn, Smith & Cockburn, 2019). The mechanism behind the process is to address the concerns of the customer and also to champion the entire process. These perspectives becomes important in influencing attitudes and expectations of the customer. Addressing such issues also provides a platform for the customers to recognize the customers are interested in their operations including other ideological objectives and needs.
• What would the student have done different based on what he/she has learned in the class
I would have done numerous things differently depending in the context and scenarios. The objective is recognizing the demands of the workplace and the best mechanism to support the customers while creating an appropriate means to support the operations. The following are some of the recommendations based on the information I learned from class:
i. Effective communication becomes important in addressing most conflicts. The mechanism is to understand the nature of the problem while also engaging others on the best approaches to address the issue (Baillien et al., 2017). For example, the employees should have been informed about the importance of the update and the possible impacts of the program (Cockburn, Smith & Cockburn, 2019). Effective communication also becomes important in comprehending and understanding the workplace demands and other processes that are crucial in ensuring the different stakeholders understand the ways of processes and operations.
ii. The presence of procedures and approaches are important in shaping and influencing the training outcomes and also the ability to pinpoint the problem early enough (Cockburn, Smith & Cockburn, 2019). The scenario is that the procedure should be clear, which would enable the employees to recognize the problem early enough (Keashly, Minkowitz & Nowell, 2020). It points to the component of training, which reflects the workplace demands. Ability to recognize the issue early enough would have provided a ground to address the problem early enough.
iii. Managerial oversight and decision making are other factors that impacts the society and the demands of the workplace (Cockburn, Smith & Cockburn, 2019). The managers should know their roles and responsibilities including the threats, which would impact directly their respective position (Baillien et al., 2017). The mechanism is to recognize the complexity about the entire problem early enough including engaging in those processes that affects the workplace demands (Smith & Fredricks-Lowman, 2020). The objective is understanding the operational requirements that also provides a means to develop and grow at the workplace.
iv. The team members should understand their operational requirements and demands. The workplace regulations are important because each individual has the power and capacity to make the right decisions (Handford & Koester, 2019). The mechanism is to create team bonding in which each of the employees work together and can collaborate to identify the problem before the entire process becomes worse. The need is the steps, which each individual might require to fulfill and operate (Cockburn, Smith & Cockburn, 2019). These fundamentals become important in the entire analysis in that the ability of the team members to work together would ensure the best approaches to support the entire developmental objectives.
The perspective is to recognize that conflicts are unavoidable in any workplace. It becomes important to bring together different stakeholders in supporting the entire process and suspects associated with the workplace. Making mistakes is normal but the best approach is addressing the reason behind the mistake and the steps to prevent reoccurrence of the issue. The means is to understand that each process has its unique demands and processes, which also points to the obligations. Considering such aspects, it point to the mechanism to work together and to support each other.

Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is the major international counterintelligence and intelligence agency in the U.S. government. Initially, it was established in 1947 and later developed from the Second World War Office of Strategic Offices (OSS). Past counterintelligence and intelligence efforts had been conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the military. However, these efforts faced stiff competition, duplication, and lack of coordination that ensued to uncontrollable levels into the 21st century. The U.S. government considered that it should control all peacetime operations impacting international relations. Although the process of adopting the CIA has not been as easy as it seemed, the 1947 National Security Act played a key role in its enforcement, and it is now one of the most effective intelligence agencies in the U.S.
The FBI maintained a system in which the armed services would control military intelligence, and the activities by the civilians would be under the jurisdiction of the FBI. In reaction to this policy discussion, President Harry S. Truman formed the Central Intelligence Group in 1946 and directed it to control departmental intelligence by supplementing rather than supplanting their services (History, n.d.). The plan was to be conducted under the directives of a State Intelligence Authority constituting the Secretaries of State, a Presidential representative, Navy, and War. The Deputy Chief of Naval Intelligence, Rear Admiral Sidney W. Souers, was nominated as the first Director of Central Intelligence. One and a half years later, the National Intelligence Authority and the Central Intelligence team were abolished.
Under the directives of the 1947 National Security Act, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the National Security Council were created. The provisions under the National Security Act, given the restrain on internal security functions and the police, as well as the CIA, closely followed the first Donovan plan of 1944 and the Presidential consent establishing the Central Intelligence Group (History, n.d.). The 1947 National Security Act necessitated the CIA to coordinate the correlating and intelligence activities of the nation, disseminating and assessing which affected the national security. Courtney, who was an initial Drug Enforcement Administration government affairs employee, was imprisoned for seven years in jail for defrauding many people with a large sum of money and pretending to be a CIA official.
The CIA often reports to the House Permanent Select Intelligence Committee and the Senate Select Intelligence Committee, as charged by the 1980 Intelligence Oversight Act and several administrative rules. In addition, the CIA also often reports to the Defense Subcommittees of the Committees of Appropriation in the two houses of Congress. Furthermore, the Agency also offers detailed briefings to the Armed Services Committees in the two bodies, the House Committee on International Affairs and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, as well as other individual groups and committees. All these confirmations ensure that the Agency complies with the set rules. Moreover, it protects the CIA from breaching its security rights. Intruders or individuals targeting to confiscate its operations are restricted. Furthermore, it can hardly disclose its internal secrets to the public.

In any negotiation environment, arguments often arise due to misunderstandings among the parties involved. However, it is normal because opinions vary, and one party should ultimately win. Negotiation is a technique for debating issues that matter. Thus, the approaches of overcoming an unconducive negotiating environment imply that one party will have to introduce valid opinions. Therefore, the strong party should be aggressive in order to make their points valid. On the other hand, the weaker party will also support their points. Consequently, this creates a hostile negotiating environment. To understand what causes a hostile negotiating environment, this essay will analyze a journal by Mhaibes and Al-Janabi addressing the strategies applied to overcome a hostile negotiating environment.
Summary of the Article
During the process of negotiation, various major approaches require to be considered. In support of this notion is a journal by Mhaibes and Al-Janabi. I loved the approach that the course used in ensuring that I gained knowledge on how Human Computer Interaction (HCI) is related to other disciplines. We acquired various skills especially skills on application and implication of cloud computing and HCU to the societal issues and how it can be used to solve issues arising with the structure of an organization (Krömker & Mayas, 2021).
I was able to explore multiple design principles taking into account HCI and cloud computing and best practice principles were learnt in this unit. Knowledge on how to implement interactive computing systems for purposes of human use was gained during the study of the course.
During the study of this course I expanded my knowledge skills on system design and many other areas of IT including servers and functions of the cloud. I have fully understood the advantages and disadvantages of cloud computing and human computer interactions. The course has also assisted me to comprehend how cloud entities and create unique security policies and Service Level Agreements (SLA) a skills that I can apply in any job opportunity that may arise on Data quality analysis. I am also able to understand how organizations can improve their efficiency through cloud computing and implementation of HCI systems.
The course has imparted knowledge in me greatly. I have a clear understanding on matters computers systems which include user experience and usability of computer systems. I have gained hands on skills and knowledge on matters project management and development of computer systems through the multiple exercises that we undertook in the course of studying the unit and I have gained skills and knowledge in the process of interaction design. The knowledge that I have gained through this course is fundamental and has expanded my ability to think critically and come up with computer systems that can be useful and user friendly.
Concepts of Interaction Designed were emphasized in this course and I understood the difference between a poor and a good design. I learnt skills and gained knowledge on how to conduct an evaluation of an interactive product and process of conceptualizing how computer interactions are supposed to be. I also learnt various ways how memory enhancement can be done through the assistance of technology.
Human Computer Interaction &Usability course has expanded my knowledge on employment compliance, laws and regulation which we learnt in class (Tan, Wenjia & Zhu, 2021). During the course, the instructor also brushed through the need to have good skills in resume writing and why one should understand difference in terms of the work cultures in working environment and how to apply etiquette, communication, time etiquette and other expectations of our respective societies once we complete school and how we can be professional in applying the knowledge that we have learnt.
In conclusion, I have gained necessary knowledge and skills that can be helpful to work in IT related fields. I have gained knowledge on critical thinking and designing of computer interaction systems. The course in Human Computer Interaction &Usability has expanded my knowledge in project management and implementation of projects in interactive computing systems including cloud computing for computer systems.

Cancel culture is a phenomenon where the cancelling of people, movies, shows or brands is promoted as a result of what some people consider to be remarks or ideologies that are problematic or offensive (Ng, 2020). Cancel culture has been present throughout the history of humanity. People have been punished by society whenever they behave without following the social norms of that society. According to Dr. Jill McCornel, a professor of criminology and sociology at Villanova University, cancel culture is an extension a bolder set of social processes of contemporary evolution seen within society in the form of banishment. Cancel culture has been a trending topic in social media and mainstream media. Celebrities, companies and media have ended up being watched closely of their political correctness.
JK Rowling and Eminem have been cancelled. Rowling has been cancelled many times for many years more especially for her negative comments against the transgender community. Eminem was also cancelled over his lyrics in his 2010 hit song “ Love the Way You Lie” was reported to be glorifying violence against women and the verse where the rapper sing “If she ever tries to fucking leave again leave again I’ma tie her to the bed and set this house on fire.”
Cancelling celebrities, brands, shows or movies tend to create a sense of solidarity with the victim of cancellation and the feeling of being together at a low. There is a reinforcement of a political division which gives people a sense of solidarity. It is psychologically intoxicating when people feel part of a group as one feel to be part of something larger than self. This phenomenon has been huge on twitter which has developed watch dogs for pop-culture racism (Bouvier, 2020).
Cancel culture has in the recent past gone too far. People should be allowed to enjoy their democratic rights by engaging with one another in ways that are meaningful to solve the political differences that may exist. Behaviours that should be cancelled should be those that are agreed collectively by a society. Strategies like endeavouring to find solutions as a society and being able to openly engage across the political divides can be useful in handling certain issues in society instead of sampling cancelling celebrities. People should be ready to dialogue and embrace diplomacy in handling matters of society interest while ensuring that democracy is allowed to thrive. Difference in opinion should be respected and where society has to disagree to agreed, should do so in an amicable manner.
The stress and anxiety has been of major concern. Due to the curfews, lockdowns and increased number of deaths, depression has been real due to fear of the unknown. The use of social media and online content consumption has been on its all-time high as COVID-19 hit the world. Stress and anxiety was in all time high and people were exchange furious political views. Restriction of movement and banning gathering made it worse people could not meet in social circles. Adapting to working from home has been hard but it is the only way to keep distance to ensure that there is no overcrowding. With the discovery of a vaccine, now economies have opened up though the cancelling culture still goes on in the world today for being politically incorrect.
